Artwork of Kaya Coulombier grows from her lifelong passion for drawing, painting, and visual arts. Although she studied at a children's art school in Slovakia early on, her professional path first led through science and international work. Art remained at a constant presence in her private life, returning to the centre since 2014, when she began sketching one evening on a sailboat in Sweden.

Since then, she has used drawing and painting to observe and reflect on the beauty of the world around her. In 2023, she left her previous career to pursue art full time.  She will complete her MFA in Painting at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2025. Her current key projects in contemporary stylized realism are "Boat Life" and "Identities". She is interested in exploring further abstracted styles.
